Dino Island is a one-person project. I run the game server, this website, and the proximity voice system myself, with Dino Bot assisting me day to day. Donations go straight to keeping the island online, and I am grateful for every single one of them.

What donations fund
Running costs come first: the cloud server that hosts the game world, Dino Bot, and proximity voice in one home. Anything beyond that funds improvements I build for the community, like new voice features and better tools for the island.
What it costs to run
The cloud server does every job on the island: it runs the game world around the clock, hosts Dino Bot, and carries proximity voice. Together with the Dino Island domain, running the island costs about $18 a month. A $5 donation keeps the island online for about eight days. The website side varies with traffic: busy days with lots of visitors can add usage fees on top, so the total can rise as the island grows.
That total is the community showing up: every minute in it is time players have spent enjoying proximity voice together, and it keeps climbing because people keep coming back.

Each tier is a one time purchase, and buying a tier again grants its kit again. Kits are delivered through Discord, so sign in with Discord before you buy and everything applies by itself. Delivery can take up to 30 minutes, and you will get a Discord DM when your kit lands.

In game, type !join in the local chat tab, then switch to your Whisper tab to read your four digit code. Then enter the four digit code here.
